How can I find information on why my document wasn’t accepted?

In your compliance checklist, there will be a "See Why" button next to the status of the document:

It will tell you once you click this button why it wasn’t accepted. Here are a few possibilities of what that could look like.

My document was rejected by Wreno's team.

If you've received an email stating "We could not verify your document," then it was rejected by Wreno's team. Our reviewers will leave you notes regarding why your document was not accepted. When you click "See Why" or "Resubmit," you will see their notes under "Reviewer Notes" at the top.

The reason will vary, but you can always find it here. The most common reasons are:

  • a document that requires a signature and date was not signed or dated
  • your document was expired
  • the document's fields are not fully filled out
  • your document's information does not match the information we have on file for you (different name, address, etc.)

Make the necessary changes to your document, or in the case of an insurance policy, obtain a new version from your insurance agent. Then, please upload the updated document to Wreno. See this article for directions on how to resubmit.

My insurance document was flagged as noncompliant by Wreno's system:

If you've received a "Compliance Update" email, this might be your case.

For insurance documents that require resubmission, click the "Resubmit" button and the issues will appear in red like this:

Please make the necessary changes with your insurance agent. When they send you an updated policy, please resubmit the new policy to our portal.
